JOB SUMMARY:
​
We are looking for an Assistant General Manager for our London locations who is operationally focused, forward thinking and genuinely cares about customer and team experience. You will be a self starter and someone who loves events and knows what it takes to make a venue that little bit extra special and successful, this might just just be a dream roll (pun intended).
Our sites host award winning baking events (you don’t need to be a baker, just love a bit of cake) and we have incredible on-site bars, hospitality suites and we host everything from Celebs and special events to our famous baking sessions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
​
TEAM
-
Set and maintain the highest site standards and create an environment of excellence amongst our baking team
-
Coach and guide our team through mentorship and training
-
Foster a collaborative and friendly team environment that supports the daily running of the events
-
Work collaboratively with our central team and your wider team
-
In the absence of the GM, step up to manage London Operations
-
Support, train and follow up with Team Leaders, enabling them to train and coach the wider team

CUSTOMER SERVICE
-
Support in the daily running of The Big Bakes events, providing a 5 star experience
-
Take responsibility for day to day customer requests and feedback
​
OPERATIONS
-
Support with managing and following up on orders, stock control and supplier management in London
-
Support with managing daily food safety, health and safety checks and tasks
-
Responsible for following up on bar sales and targets through strong team leadership and customer service
​
SALARY & HOURS OF WORK:
​
From £14.50 per hour
30-35 hour contract per week
​
