The Big Bakes is the UK’s No.1 immersive baking experience brand, operating in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool.

We create high-energy, themed baking events that are competitive and joy-filled, and we’re looking for a freelance videographer who can turn that energy into high-performing social content.

Initial 3-month engagement, extendable by agreement. Independent contractor engagement.

THE ROLE

You’ll be engaged on a project basis to create scroll-stopping, social-first video content aligned to agreed briefs and marketing objectives.

Key outputs may include

• Short-form social first content

• Guest reactions, event launches and live event energy

• Influencer collaborations and brand activation content

• Campaign and promotional video assets

• Multiple cut-downs optimised for performance testing

This is a production-led role. No account management or scheduling responsibilities.

FILMING & TRAVEL

Based primarily in London (Haggerston), with travel to other UK venues as required to deliver agreed services. You will independently plan and execute shoot days aligned to briefs and deadlines.

Attendance at venues occurs only where required for agreed outputs.

EDITING & CREATIVE PERFORMANCE

• Strong hooks and pacing designed for retention

• Captioning, music and platform-native formatting

• Colour grading and professional finishing

• Application of social trends and audience behaviour insight

• Proactive content ideas aligned to growth

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Proven portfolio of high-performing social video

• Experience filming in live, experiential or hospitality environments preferred

• Strong understanding of engagement, watch time and retention

• Ability to plan, shoot and edit independently

• Professional communication and time management

EQUIPMENT

You must supply and maintain your own professional filming kit, including phone, camera, lenses, lighting, audio, stabilisation and editing software suitable for commercial use.

CONTENT OWNERSHIP

All content produced for The Big Bakes as part of agreed services, whether for internal or external use, will become the property of The Big Bakes Limited, with full usage rights across all marketing, advertising and brand channels.
