Chocolate Drip Decoration

100g Chocolate

1 tbsp vegetable oil


  1. Break up the chocolate and add to a microwave safe bowl.

  2. Heat in 10sec intervals, stirring with a spoon after each interval to avoid hot spots.

  3. Once the chocolate is melted, add small amounts of the oil and mix to bring to the desired consistency. The chocolate should be just runny enough to pour, but thick enough to maintain its form.

  4. Add the mixture to a squeeze bottle and test the consistency by pouring it down the side of a glass to see flow speed.

Tips and Tricks:

  1. Don't burn the chocolate, it will become grainy and unusable.

  2. If you add too much oil and the chocolate is too runny, add more chocolate and re-heat.
