These treats are quick, festive and delicious. Dress up classic oreos with a luxurious bit of dark chocolate and a decorative Christmas Tree.

Special Equipment: Microwave safe bowl and small piping bag
14 Oreo sandwich cookies
200g dark chocolate
50g white chocolate
green food colouring
christmas nonpareil sprinkles
Lay out a sheet of baking parchment on a flat surface.
Then place the dark chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat the 30 second intervals until the chocolate is completely melted.
Dip each of the Oreos into the chocolate until 1/2 of each Oreo is covered in chocolate.
Once the Oreo is covered with chocolate, tap off the excess and place the Oreo on the prepared parchment paper to set.
While the chocolate on your Oreos is setting, place the white chocolate in another microwave safe bowl and follow the same 30 second interval heating instructions.
Once the white chocolate is melted, add your desired green food colouring and stir until completely incorporated.
Place the now green chocolate into your piping bag and cut a small hole in the tip. Use your green chocolate piping bag to pipe a zig-zag cone from the base of the oreo to the top. Starting wide and getting narrower as your reach the top of your Christmas tree design.
Top with your festive sprinkles and leave for 15 minutes to set until your decorative dipped oreos are ready to serve!
If you want your chocolate to set faster, place your dipped Oreos in the fridge for 10 minutes.
