Oaty Biscuits

Quick, easy and crispy oat biscuits. Super quick to make and almost impossible to eat just one.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10-13 minutes

Total Time: 23 minutes

Yield Quantity: 18 biscuits

Special Equipment: None

Ingredients:

85g plain flour

85g demerara sugar

85g oats

½ tsp bicarbonate of soda

85g butter, melted

1 tbsp milk

1 tbsp golden syrup

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 170C.

  2. In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, oats and bicarbonate of soda.

  3. Pour in the melted butter, milk and golden syrup and stir together.

  4. Leave for 1 minute to allow the oats to absorb the liquid.

  5. Roll into bowls roughly 20g each and place on a lined baking tray. Leave about an inch of space between each ball to allow for spreading.

  6. Bake for 10-13 minutes until golden all over.

  7. Allow to cool and enjoy.

Tips:

  1. Feel free to change up the size of the biscuits and weigh at 40g for bigger biscuits!
