THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Senior Head Baker who is people and quality focused, loves the joy baking brings to people, and believes in delivering the very best experience for every guest.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
TEAM
-
Set and maintain the highest site standards and create an environment of excellence amongst our baking team
-
Coach and guide our head baker team through mentorship and training
-
Foster a collaborative and friendly team environment that supports the daily running of the event
-
Work collaboratively with our central team and your wider team

In the absence of the GM, step up to manage London Operations
CUSTOMER SERVICE
-
Host and manage The Big Bakes events providing a 5 star experience
OPERATIONS:
-
Manage ordering, stock control and supplier management in London
-
Manage daily food safety, health and safety checks and tasks
-
Create and collaborate on new monthly recipes for the venues
HOURS OF WORK:
Full time - 30-40 hours per week
Variable work - 5 days per week - (Weekend availability required)
SALARY:
London East and London South - £15.50 (performance bonus available and annual salary review)
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Previous Pastry Chef, cake decorating, home economist, culinary or baking experience
Evidence of managerial experience
Strong background in customer service
