JOB SUMMARY:

Our Team Leaders are highly enthusiastic, personable, possess strong and proven customer service skills and be willing to go the extra mile.


Team Leaders are the driving force throughout each shift; supporting the Head Baker and guiding the team. They lead by example and are key drivers in a positive, fun and proactive work environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

​

operations

  • Driving team efficiency during opening, changeover and closing the site

  • Assisting with stock takes and ordering lists on a weekly basis

  • Routinely check cleanliness during open, changeover and close and stock levels

  • Ensure the tent is organised,including cupboards, shelves and storage units

  • Adhere and maintain all food and health and safety standards

  • Problem solving in difficult situations, seeking extra assistance from managers where needed

  • Reporting summaries of events of the day using the team communication channel, Slack

  • Regularly provide updates, ideas and feedback to site manager

guest Experience:

 

  • Taking responsibility for welcoming and seeing off guests in an engaging manner

  • Circulating throughout the site during the daily events and interacting with guests to contribute to an enjoyable and social environment

  • Supporting and offering encouragement and creative hints & tips to customers

  • Interacting with guests to offer and help create an enjoyable and social environment

  • Handling guest enquiries/feedback

team Leadership:

​

  • Ensuring that all assistants are clear on their individual roles and support less experienced team members

  • Leading by example and driving efficiency throughout the shift

  • Training new team members

  • Giving feedback to new and existing team members regarding great performance, areas to improve and conduct issues eg. lateness, using phone on shift for personal reasons
